The Technical Term For Vacuum Pumps
Jun 29, 2021| The technical term for vacuum pumps
In addition to the main characteristics, limit pressure, flow rate and pumping rate of vacuum pump, there are a number of terms to express the performance and parameters of the pump.
1. Start pressure. Pressure when the pump starts without damage and has the action of pumping air.
2. Front pressure. Vent pressure lower than 101325Pa vacuum pump outlet pressure.
3. Maximum front pressure. Exceed the pre-stage pressure at which it can damage the pump.
4. Maximum working pressure. The inlet pressure corresponding to the maximum flow. At this pressure, the pump can operate continuously without deterioration or damage.
5. Compression ratio. The ratio of the outlet pressure to the inlet pressure of a pump for a given gas.
6. Ho's coefficient. The ratio of the actual extraction rate at the pump suction channel area to the theoretical extraction rate at that area as a molecular drain.
7, extraction coefficient. Ratio of the actual pumping rate of the pump to the theoretical pumping rate of the pump inlet area as measured by molecular flow.
8. Return flow rate. The mass flow rate of the pump liquid per unit area and per unit time that passes through the pump inlet in the opposite direction when the pump is working under specified conditions.
9, water vapor allowable amount (unit :kg/h) under normal environmental conditions, the mass flow rate of water vapor that can be pumped out when the gas pump is in continuous work.
10. Maximum allowable water vapor inlet pressure. The highest inlet pressure of water vapor that the pump can remove during continuous operation under normal environmental conditions.
