X-ray Photoelectron Spectroscopy (XPS)
May 06, 2023| XPS is a surface-sensitive technique used to analyze the elemental composition and chemical state of thin films. The technique works by shining X-rays onto the surface of the film, which causes electrons in the surface layer to be ejected. The ejected electrons are then analysed to determine the film's elemental composition and chemical state.
