Diamond-like (DLC) coating is one of the tool coatings commonly used in the industrial field. It is a coating material composed of carbon elements, similar to diamond in properties, but also has the structure of graphite atoms. Diamond-like (DLC) coatings are amorphous films with high hardness and elastic modulus, low friction coefficient, wear resistance, and good vacuum friction properties, so they are commonly used as wear-resistant coatings.
