PVD deposition process
Apr 28, 2024| PVD deposition process
According to the different processes, PVD can be further divided into vacuum evaporation, sputtering coating, arc plasma coating, ion coating, and molecular beam epitaxy.
Vacuum Evaporation
Vacuum Evaporation is when a metal, metal alloy, or compound is evaporated and then deposited on the surface of a substrate under vacuum conditions.
The commonly used evaporation methods are resistance heating, high-frequency induction heating, or high-energy bombardment with electron, laser and ion beams.
